| Comment: | Researching Timothy Foley, b. circa 1910-1930, place unknown; m. Margaret Moriarty in Castlegregory, 21 Nov 1861. Their son, Michael,b. 11 Nov 1864, emigrated to CT in the US about 1881. Margaret emigrated to Ithaca, New York in the US about 1886 to live with her son, Michael. She was recorded as "widow of Timothy", so possible Timothy died between 1881 and 1886. Timothy and Margaret's other children, besides Michael are Mary (b. abt 1862), John (b. abt 1863), and Margaret, who is said to have been born in Glenbeigh about 1865. There is no civil registry for Michael's birth. I would appreciate any help I can get with this family. They are my brick wall. Just got back from a terrific trip to Co. Kerry. Wow, what a beautiful place. |
